The Shift Supervisor Aircraft MX provides first level supervision to NJS Repair Station employees for the execution of maintenance, repairs, contract maintenance and line service operations. The Shift Supervisor Aircraft MX completes administrative work associated with the operation of the NJS Repair Station maintenance operations and line service.
30%: Directly supervises technicians and line service staff for the execution of maintenance and line service operations. Executes administrative duties necessary to maintain operational control of the NJS Repair Station including: attendance monitoring and recording, operational performance, and employee training and qualifications.
25%: Monitors maintenance personnel on assigned shift to ensure they are complying with safety regulations and rules as prescribed by the DOT, OSHA and EPA.
25%: Responsible for ensuring employee compliance with all policies and procedures as outlined in the NJS Part 145 Repair Station and Quality Control Manual, Repair Station Training Program Manual, NJS Line Service Manual and Company Policy Manuals.
25%: Responsible for obtaining the status and communicating the progress of all work associated with the approved aircraft work order. Reviews proposed work and determines acceptance per the NJS Operational Specifications and then oversees progress of the approved work package including status reporting to the owner/operator.
5%: Ensures that the NJS line operation runs efficiently and safely at all times including during fueling, towing, and aircraft cleaning. Support the FBO operation and interfaces with owners and passengers.
